TENNANTITE Mountain Consolidated Mine, Butte Silver Bow County, Montana Approximately 1.1 centimeters - nice xls.. Tennantite is a fairly uncommon copper arsenic sulfosalt mineral. Its chemical formula is Cu12As4S13. TN2-842 - $20.00 SOLD	SPHALERITE Eagle Mine, Gilman, Eagle County, Colorado Approximately 2.5 cm. x 2.5 cm. x 2.0. Gilman is an abandoned mining town in southeastern Eagle County, Colorado. Founded in 1886 during the Colorado Silver Boom, the town later became a center of lead and zinc mining in Colorado, centered around the now-flooded Eagle Mine. It was abandoned in 1984 by order of the EPA because of toxic pollutants, including contamination of the ground water, as well as unprofitability of the mines.
