SPECIAL GALLERY - PRIVATE COLLECTION SPECIMENS
UPDATED 10 MAY 2010
This gallery contains Minerals from the Collection of Harold (Hal) Prior and Polly Prior as well as selected others. I have accumulated an extensive personal collection over the past 45 years and now is the time to reduce it in size. Each item listed on this page was deemed such quality as to warrant being reserved for the collection at the time acquired. However, many of the earlier collected pieces when I get to them will not be the quality of more recent acquisitions - as my hobby matured specimen value and quality also increased. When possible I will give date and how acquired. Specimens will be added as I complete inventory of the collection.
Most of these specimens were imaged under the same lighting conditions, and processed through Adobe Photoshop with the same settings, thus relative colors should be accurate. Please Note: Check sizes closely as image sizes can be deceiving!
