The Middleton NOW designs represent elements of contemporary youth "style" from head to toe. Hair, expression, outfits, shoes.... They are expected look like any little toddler or baby going to a friend's birthday party today. Middleton NOW dolls are priced to fill the gap between Playbabies that top out at ($60) and below where the Artist Studio Collection now begins (around $150). This great new line of babies carries the distinction of being available for Play or Display: all tested and approved for play, yet expensive and beautiful enough to collect and show. Higher priced Play, or Less expensive Collectible, or both....NOW is the option. The packaging also reflects the choices here, as the "luggage-look" package is pretty enough for display, while the windowed feature is often related to play-type dolls. Each of the creations of the Middleton NOW collection will have an open edition until retirement. This introduction of Middleton NOW includes 15 different styles:
