The world changed on September 11, 2001 and so did the world of collecting. What was once regular spending, has now become a considered and deliberate choice. For the first time in years price has become an issue where it was not before. Effective June 2, 2003 Lee Middleton Original Dolls, Inc. made a dramatic and permanent change to the retail pricing structure of the Artist Studio Collection line. This unprecedented step was taken to make collection more affordable and eliminate the collectors urge to accept lesser quality that imitate the Middleton quality. As a result we were able to offer significantly reduced prices on 2003 and all future dolls.
